Solo Stove Smokeless fire pits are equipped with a precision-engineered ventilation system. The fire pits have strategically placed vent holes at the bottom and top. The bottom vents draw in air, which is then channeled through the double-wall construction and released through the top vents. This controlled airflow promotes efficient burning.
As the preheated air rises from the bottom, it mixes with the gases and particulate matter released during combustion. This secondary combustion of these gases helps achieve a more complete burn, reducing the amount of smoke produced.
Shed-Seasoned Firewood
for Solo Stove Smokless Fire PitsSoftwoods like pine, cedar, and spruce tend to produce more smoke and can create a less enjoyable fire experience. Green or unseasoned wood contains more moisture, leading to inefficient burning and increased smoke production.
For Solo Stove fire pits, it is recommended to use dry, well-seasoned hardwoods for the best performance and minimal smoke.
